A very simple yet beautiful book of growth mindset!
Title: Why Should I Walk? I Can Fly!
Author: Ann Ingalls
Illustrator: Rebecca Evans
Publisher: Dawn Publications
A little robin is resting in the nest. It wishes to fly like others, however, it is scared to try and fail. Every bird says that the first flight experience would be exciting and awesome, however, it is not at all easy to give a try. It seems to be simple and exciting from what others say, but it feels overwhelming and challenging to this little robin.
The robin watches as its siblings soar high through the sky and decides to give it a try. After his mother bird gives him a push, he flies off, not looking good and stable though! It falls into a bush and becomes an almost-snack for a cat, but manages to escape due to utter desperation.
Such a simple story but it gives little ones a very important message for their lives!
📚 A vital message - facing your fears helps you grow!
