Snow
I love Winter and snow! This book's cover is so alluring and fun that I was so interested to read it. This book is a Caldecott Honor book which is an honor awarded to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children.

The story "Snow" is about a little boy who is really longing for a snowfall. The young boy is excited to see snowflakes starting to fall, and he and his dog rejoice. However, everyone he meets tells him that the snow will melt soon. Fortunately for the little boy and his dog, the snowflakes keep coming, swirling, dusting, and covering! All the people start dancing together in a joyful celebration of the snow.
Snow lovers - this book is for you! This story perfectly captures the magic and wonder of those first snowflakes falling out of the sky and blanketing the world! The illustrations are mesmerizing and have the blue tone of winter on all the pages. The author nicely captures the transformation of the city into a snow-blanketed village. Not-so-complex text and beautiful pictures make this book suitable for toddlers and elementary-aged kids.
