As with any Pinkalicious book, this book also has lots of colorful and beautiful pictures that would entice the eyes of little kids and beginning readers. Most of the words are simple and sentences are small. With that being said, there are a few words that are complex for beginning readers and that would need help from more proficient readers. This book could be used as a read-aloud for toddlers too.
