Little Rabbit is the youngest in his family. Since he is small, he is not able to do much for the yearly Kwanzaa celebrations. His Granna Rabbit used to make the Karamu feast for Kwanzaa celebrations. Unfortunately, this year, his Granna Rabbit is sick. Little Rabbit wants to help Granna Rabbit and tries to put together the Karamu feast himself. He raises his concern to all those whom he runs into, and finally, everyone helps the Little Rabbit put together a wonderful feast and Kwanzaa celebration.

You don't need to know details about Kwanzaa if you want to read this book - that I think is the biggest plus point of this book. The seven principles of Kwanzaa can be found deep inside this story. At the end of the book, there is a glossary covering the terms and principles of Kwanzaa. Adorable illustrations support the story whole throughout the book.

This book is suitable as a read-aloud for little kids and as a good read for elementary-level kids.
