Gilbert, as usual, gets himself in trouble!
Mrs. Byrd assigns a project to be completed over the weekend, but, it is so close to Christmas. The weekends are so full of Christmas activities and fun that Gilbert forgets to complete the assignment. Such things happen... we know!!!
Christmas holidays are a fun time but before we leave for the holidays, we also need to complete our responsibilities at school on time! And procrastination does not work here!!!
An awesome and meaningful read for elementary-aged kids, right around Christmas time!
