This is the story of an owl, Flaco, who is living in captivity in a zoo. However, he has always loved to fly high and yearned to live free in this wild world. Fortunately for him, that day came when he was able to escape his cage and was able to soar through the sky forever. Although he had to struggle a bit to fly since he was not used to it, his happiness knew no bounds! At first, he was unable to find food in the big city, too, but eventually, he was able to hunt for his food. Flaco was able to spend the rest of his days living his dreams!

The author's words make us understand exactly how Flaco must be feeling and how strong his dreams were! This story sheds light on the state of numerous other animals who are surviving (not living) in captivity. Yes, we need to take care of the animals and birds if they get hurt; however, after they recover, we should let them go into this free world to live their life their way!

This beautiful book serves as a great starting point for a discussion about the safety and freedom of animals and birds. Of course, they cannot advocate for themselves, and so, they need our help here.
