Amira's Picture Day
Amira and her brother Ziyad scan the sky for the thin crescent moon, that would mark the next day as Eid!
Amira is very excited. Ramadan is coming to an end and the festival of Eid is fast approaching. She will get new clothes to wear on Eid day and there will be so much to celebrate. Amira can't wait anymore for this.
Oh, no! Amira finds a school flyer on the fridge that says Eid Day is going to be school picture day too. Amira seems so sad and frustrated to even think that she would not be able to make it picture day. If she was not in the class picture, she believed that her friends would forget her!
However, Amira knows that there will be mehndi on her hands, a glittering dress to wear, prayers, and celebrations at the mosque on Eid day which would make her going to school rather impossible. 😌
What would Amira do? Would she be able to go for the picture day? Read on...
